Prague, 5 December, 2016 - Just a few days after UNESCO inscribed yoga on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, the international conference on “Yoga in Daily Life – a Path to Non-Violence and World Peace” was held in Prague, Czech Republic. The event was organized by the Sri Swami Madhavananda World Peace Council (SSMWPC), on the initiative of its founder, H.H. Vishwaguru Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheshwaranandaji.

After four months of traveling the world, Vishwaguruji was warmly welcomed by his European bhaktas in Prague, Czech Republic.

In 1990 His Holiness Vishwaguru Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda Puriji laid the foundation stone of a large-scale project called the Om Vishwa Deep Gurukul Swami Maheshwarananda Ashram Education & Research Centre (commonly referred to as Om Ashram). 15 - 16 November 2016

The opening ceremony of Sri Madheshwar Mahadev Shiva Mandir of Sri Alakhpuriji Siddha Peeth Parampara at Bari Khatu Dhuna, began on 15 November with satsang and all night bhajan singing - in Nagaur District, Rajasthan.

On the night of 7 November a large satsang was held in Jadan Ashram, with many bhaktas from near and far coming to join Vishwaguruji on this auspicious day - the Mahasamadhi anniversary of His Holiness Hindu Dharamsamrat Paramhans Sri Swami Madhavanand Puriji, according to the lunar calendar.

Following visits to several countries for the World Peace Tour, Vishwaguruji has once again blessed his Indian devotees with his darshan.
