Ashram is divine home for Gurudev and his bhaktas

16 November 2024 – Vishwaguruji spends most of his life in ashrams, which according to Sanatan Dharma tradition is the only home of a sannyasi. In the past few weeks, he has been spending time with a small group of European bhaktas in OM Ashram in Jadan, followed by a journey to Bari Khatu Ashram and Kailash Ashram.

OM Ashram

Every day in the ashram is a good day for satsang and bhajansguru seva or karma yoga. During the last few weeks, Vishwaguruji has been carefully supervising every detail of the work in the OM Ashram and through every little thing, even the most imperceptible, teaching the principles of Yoga and Sanatan Dharma to his students and all people who come to ashram with open hearts.

Of all the days in the ashram, some are even more special than others. Thus, after Diwali and the birth anniversary of Sri Mahaprabhuji, Hindu Dharmsamrat Paramhans Swami Madhavanandji's mahasamadhi anniversary was also celebrated in OM Ashram. How else to celebrate the occasion, when it comes to Holi Guruji, than with darshan, bhakti and bhajans, that were sung all night long.

From Jadan, Vishwaguruji visited many devotees in the villages of Rupawas and Sojat, and then he left for Bari Khatu Ashram where he is always eagerly awaited by the local community.

Bari Khatu Ashram

While staying at Bari Khatu Ashram, Vishwaguruji visited the nearby village of Hari Vasani, the incarnation place of Bhagwan Shree Deep Narayan Mahaprabhuji. He was received warmly by Shree Ganesh Puriji Maharaj – the nephew of Mahaprabhuji and head of the Goswami family in Hari Vasani.

Among many long-time disciples and bhaktas from around the region, Jitendar Singhji and his family also came for Swamiji's darshan. He is Devi Singh Ji’s son, they live in Badapara, a few kilometres from Khatu village. When Bhagwan Shree Swami Madhavanandaji as a young sannyasi first set up for his satsang tour, he had bhiksha (alms) for the very first time in their house. So this house in Badapara is especially meaningful for Vishwaguruji.
