Annual autumn Yoga Seminar in Vép, Hungary
26-28 October 2018
His Holiness Vishwaguru Maheshwaranandaji continued his autumn tour of Europe with the seminar following after Ukraine taking place in Vép, Hungary.
As always in his seminars and lectures, Vishwaguruji once again showered the mercy and wisdom of Sri Alakhpuriji Siddhapeeth Parampara onto the large gathering of international participants.
'Resonance is the form of the Supreme' - nada rupa parabrahma.
We ourselves are resonating, and all around us is resonating and is affecting us. For example, sad news can immediately create a bad atmosphere and bad mood. And even without understanding resonance, we are affected - such as by classical music. In the same way, resonance spiritually awakens. So said Vishwaguruji in his inspiring lecture.
The theme for one part of the seminar was the particular resonance and power of words, and this included the translation and beautiful explanation of the bhajan (spiritual song) from one of the Sri Mahaprabhuji's disciples, Sri Shivanand Puri:
Vishwaguruji explained that shabdaban is the power of words, which can be as a blessing or a curse; and shabdateer is the 'arrow' as directed by our words. Words that are harsh may hurt others - so before pronouncing them, words need to be carefully considered and, if necessary, filtered.
Practicing mantra is also a form of using the power of words.
"When a wise person meets another wise person they talk about wisdom. When the donkeys meet together, they kick or bite each other. Those who have wisdom can talk about worldly things and still the words of wisdom can be heard."
